Chance Squares

Lessons for the 2025-2026 season begin on September 29, 2025, at Bryant Elementary School common area (or foyer), at 1520 Livingston Ave, Helena, MT. Lessons will be 6:30-8:00 pm on Monday evenings and the cost will be $6.00 per person OR $100 for approximately 20 lessons if paid up front. Children under the age of 18 are free when accompanied by a parent(s) or guardian. Any child age 7 or above is able to learn square dancing. Square dancing is a family-friendly event and all children are welcome to attend. Please note there are no pre-signups; just show up at 6:30 for lessons! Glen Tusler will be the instructor. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Mastering square dancing requires dedication to attend most of the lessons and a commitment to learning over time. There are approximately 70 mainstream square dance calls and it takes around 20 lessons to cover and teach all the calls of mainstream square dance.
