Lessons for the 2026-2027 season will begin in the fall. The dates will be announced in late August 2026 and will be advertised on this website, on our Facebook page at Helena Last Chance Square Dance, and on local announcements. Children under the age of 18 are free when accompanied by a parent(s) or guardian. Any child age 7 or above is able to learn square dancing. Square dancing is a family-friendly event, and all children are welcome to attend. Mastering square dancing requires dedication to attend most of the lessons and a commitment to learning over time. It takes several lessons to learn mainstream square dancing because there are over 30 calls to learn so be prepared to take a few months of weekly lessons to learn, meet new people and have fun!
